OPAC
OPAC is an acronym for “On-line Public Access Catalogue”. it is an access tool and resource guide to the collection of a library or libraries which provide bibliographic data in machine readable form and can be searched interactively on a computer terminal/mobile app by users.
Maharashtra College of Pharmacy, Nilanga library offers computerized catalogue search services through the SOUL 3.0 Web OPAC (Online Public Access catalogue). The bibliographic records consisting of more than 3494 books can be searched this interface. periodicals, pamphlets, reports, theses and library assignment ,project works are available in the library.
OPAC: Local host computer search by simple search, Boolean search, Advanced search and Member OPAC.
Web-OPAC and SOUL m-OPAC: Web-OPAC local host networking computer and SOUL-m-OPAC any mobile searching by Member Registration, Basic search, free text search, Boolean search, Advanced Boolean search, Alphabetical browse, Acquisition suggestion.
