Maharashtra College of Pharmacy Nilanga is Pioneer institute in Pharmaceutical education in Marathwada region. Dr. Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar Ex- Chief Minister Maharashtra State started Maharashtra College of Pharmacy in 1984.  The aim behind the opening of such a professional institute in rural area like Nilanga is to educate the youth from this area. Academic performances of our Students are always excellent in their respective examinations. Every year our students are securing very good rank in national level examinationslike GPAT and NIPER. Last year 8 students and during the current year 17 students qualified in GPAT exam. In 2016 one of our students Ganpat Surywanshi secured All India 28^thRank in GPAT exam. Our students got more than 20 times gold medal in university examination. Maharashtra College of Pharmacy, Nilanga is NAAC Accredited B++ Grade with 2.95 CGPA in First Cycle This is possible only because the institution has vibrant staff that is known for discipline and dedication to prepare the young talents to be in right place to face expanding and enlarging pharmacy segment. Around 15 faculty members are having M. Pharmacy qualification and 03 are M. Pharm. Ph. D holders. Similarly the co-operation of the administrative and other non-teaching staff of the college has been extraordinary.  The Faculty, Administrative and Non-teaching staff together with students makes “MCP family”. We have M. Pharmacy in quality Assurance. The students of M. Pharmacy are publishing articles and patenting their researchevery year in high impact factor journals. The all published work is available on our college web site mcpnilanga.org. Alumni of institute is always helping and motivating the students to upgrade their skills as a key requirement of today’s many multinational companies. Institute continuously organizing seminars and workshops with the help of alumni for giving the current knowledge to the budding pharmacist. Institute provides large number of books for needy and scholar students. Every student get set of books for the whole year. Students can seat and use library and reading room facilities 24hrs. College also provides hostel to boys and girls in College campus.  Our institute is working for overall development of students, for that we are conducting national level seminars, workshops, sports, Cultural, debate, quiz and Dale Carnegie training program and many more every year. Even though our Institute frequently deputing our students and staff for their active participation in national and state level conferences, seminars, workshops and sports tournaments etc. Our Valley ball, table tennis, Badminton shuttle team won several state level prizes.
